Some three thousand years ago it left Deliverance in pursuit of rampaging Night Lords on the eastern fringe. It never reached its destination, and the traitor marines burned three planets before the fourth company finally suppressed them in a bitter conflict. The Ebony Edge appeared two thousand, five hundred and seventy six years later. Wrecked, ruined and limping into the docks of Deliverance. Time has eroded the exact details, but horror stories tell of the unexplained demise of an entire company inside its tortured hull. There were no further sorties for the battle barge and the names of the company on board were wiped from the Raven Guard records. No one knows the company designation or its commander, and no ship since has bore the name Ebony Edge.
