On this date in 1981, Madness released their third album, 7. The album included the singles, "Grey Day" (#4 U.K.), "Shut Up" (#7 U.K.) and "Cardiac Arrest" (#14 U.K.). The album reached the #5 spot on the U.K. albums chart.
