It all leads up to yet another artistic reinvention for his fifth studio album, For You, released on the artist's recent birthday.
To promote his strongest full body of work to date (in my humble opinion), Frankmusik shares the project's official next single, following in the footsteps of "This", which was released back in May. For "I Remember", the euphoric, dance-driven track, the artist reminisces on the low points of his past, only to pick his head up and walk towards the future. It's an uplifting and encouraging premise, supporting by slick and polished pop production, a sound we really haven't heard since his last record label release.
"I Remember" is not only a catchy, reflective piece of pop, it also gives listeners' a solid representation of the track's infectious parent album and its beat-heavy contents. From its first note, to the inescapable hook, the new release pushes its 80s-influenced synths to the forefront, making for a thrilling and contagious effort. The artist chooses to forget about the "stupid little dramas" to focus on the laughter seemingly brought on by a new flame. "No longer alone, baby make me feel whole, this is how life's supposed to be," the artist sings with a more optimistic view of life.
