Thanks to Tory Burch, there's a beautiful new jewelry trend from New York Fashion Week that is perfect for wedding season. On Sunday, during the designer's show, brilliant crystal drop earrings in gorgeous shades of emerald, blush pink and cobalt blue sparkled as models strutted down the catwalk at Pier 17.

The models's hair were pulled back into long, tight braids, letting the baubles shine bright on their own. They were seamlessly styled with Burch's new covet-worthy gold toggle coats; signature floral frocks; Victorian-inspired ruffle blouses (a new micro trend emerging this season) and delectable patchwork boots. The rich mixture of prints and colors bolstered what Burch does best — high-fashion prep style. Although Burch may have shown us how to style these beautiful earrings for daily life, they are even more perfect for wedding season.

For brides who are looking for extra glamour and a pop of color on their wedding day, these earrings are a must-have. A pair of striking earrings can help tie your entire look together. These accessories are even more glamorous when paired with a minimalistic wedding dress, or hair swept back into an updo. There's a reason that Hollywood starlets like Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie choose to wear a pair of radiant drop earrings on the red carpet — they dazzle in front of the camera.

However, even if you're not a bride, these earrings can instantly turn an ordinary LBD into an extraordinary one. It's a fantastic piece to keep in your jewelry box for all functions, whether it's your birthday, a date night or your best friend's wedding. That's the power of a beautiful set of drop earrings, there's a regal air to them that are inherently glamorous no matter where you choose to wear them.

R29 Shopping Oracle: These Will Be The Biggest Trends Of Fall '19 (& A Few That Won't) - Refinery29

If you're a style enthusiast like us, you're probably familiar with the historical struggle between the "ins" and the "outs." The glossy fashion magazines of our youth pitted products against each other; declaring Trend A tired, while exalting Trend B as the must-have epitome of nowness. However, in 2019, the only thing that's "out" is that binary opposition between old and new. We don't want to rule out certain styles just because they've been around the block once or twice — these tried-and-true pieces can still bring us plenty of sartorial fulfillment and often become classics in their own right. Yet, we still want to know what's coming around the bend — it is fashion, after all. But, in our world, there's plenty of room for both the past and the present, too.
